Maceió

Known as the Paradise of Waters, the capital of Alagoas is famous for its beaches and natural pools of crystal clear warm green waters, which occupy 6 km of wooded waterfront with bike lane, sidewalk, tents. On the beaches of Jatiúca, Ponta Verde and Pajuçara, you can enjoy the city’s charm at any time of day. In addition to the urban beaches, north and south coast, which together account for 40 km of coastline, Maceió has other beauties a little distant from the route of the coconut trees that make it even more special. The county also has 22 km of lagoons and canals, net fabrics in Pontal da Barra, history, museum, theater and churches.

Costa dos Corais

Beaches

The Francês, Barra de São Miguel, Gunga, Jequiá da Praia, Coruripe and Feliz Deserto beaches are known for the the beauty of the water, with green and blue shades changing at every moment. At low tide, it forms actual natural pools, an invitation to bathing. Caminhos do São Francisco

Through all regions the waters of the Velho Chico (Old Chico) run, one of the most important waterways in Brazil and South America. Trails

Canyons of the São Francisco

On the scenery merely breathtaking route. The tour through the Old Chico is to behold the beauty of the hinterland, where land aridity contrasts with the riverbed, forming beautiful scenery. Cangaço Route

The history of the northeastern hinterland goes along the banks of San Francisco, on board a catamaran for about 45 minutes of beauty along the river bed to reach the first stop, the village of Entremontes, which has the house where Dom Pedro I stayed, in addition to the embroiderers of redendê, local crafts. The next stop is the Angicos Grota, in the Caatinga region, where Lampião, Maria Bonita and nine bandits were killed in an ambush in 1938.
